About "Pen & Prosody"
Holly Durr established "Pen & Prosody" in 2018 as a platform to share lettering & illustration designs. Since then, she has created custom designs for invitations, cards, business logos, tattoos, portraits, apparel, and more. For more information, please visit this commission page.
Why Pen & Prosody? Holly works as a speech-language pathologist to support communication. "Prosody" typically refers to the intonation, stress, and rhythm of speech/sign --- all of which help convey our thoughts and ideas! However, prosody is also a component of written communication. When intentional design choices are made in lettering and typography, our message becomes more powerful.

About Holly
Holly Durr currently lives in Athens, Georgia, where she works full-time as a speech-language pathologist through the public schools. She graduated from the University of Washington's Master of Science program in Speech-Language Pathology in August 2019. Her professional experience is detailed on this page and on LinkedIn.
